Worker's Rights

Our workers are the backbone of our city and we must support them in whatever ways we can.

A Living Wage

All employees should be paid a wage that allows them to financially support themselves and their families. I will work with employers to require and incentivize a minimum wage of $15/hr.

Collective Bargaining

I support our workers ability to collectively bargain and I will promote legislation that makes it easier to do so.

Right To Unionize

I support unions and will support legislation that strengthens our workers right to unionize. I will require that employers make no efforts to unduly influence workers’ rights to unionize, and I will support anti-retaliation laws that make it illegal from employers to retaliate against workers who unionize.
